It took me more than a year of experimentation to master the balance of chocolate, cream and lavender. I gagged, spat and winced my way through a dozen failed attempts so that you don’t have to.

So, run a hot bath and curl up with a mug of this not-so-sinfully delicious offering of decadence and serenity. You’re welcome.

Add milk of preference (cashew and coconut, equal parts, is the tastiest vegan option for this), chocolate, cacao powder, kosher salt and coconut nectar to saucepan over medium heat. Add pure vanilla extract when chocolate is melted and mixture is almost blended thoroughly. Once blended, remove from heat and add drop of lavender essential oil. Whisk the mixture vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
